About the Role
We are seeking a motivated Sales Assistant to join our growing yacht brokerage and marine wholesale
team. This position is an excellent entry point for someone looking to build a long-term career in boat and
yacht sales. You’ll work directly with experienced brokers while gaining hands-on exposure to vessel
systems, deal processes, client relations, and daily operations on the docks.
What You’ll Do
- Support brokers throughout the full sales cycle—from listing to survey, sea trial, inspection,
closing, and after-sales orientation
- Assist with documentation, mechanical records, contracts, and transaction paperwork
- Work around marinas, docks, and onboard vessels (must be comfortable working outdoors)
- Conduct basic mechanical checks and help coordinate inspections or service needs
- Maintain listings, gather vessel information, and help prepare marketing materials
- Connect with industry professionals and begin building your own network
- Communicate with buyers, sellers, surveyors, service providers, and partner brokers
- Help manage multiple tasks and priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Learn brokerage operations with a clear pathway to advance into a broker role

As an Overlook Marine Group Buy-Side Broker, You Will Be Responsible For:
- Purchasing boats for our portfolio inventory, including coordinating pre purchase surveys, logistics and storage.
- Work with our teams to get inventory market ready for re sale, including listing and marketing photos
- Arranging and conducting yacht showings for potential buyers, showcasing features, and highlighting the benefits of each vessel.
- Work closely with the in-house closing team to oversee and manage the necessary paperwork, contracts, and legal requirements involved in yacht sales transactions.
– Keeping up-to-date with the yachting market trends, including pricing, availability, and new developments.
– Building and maintaining a strong network within the yachting industry, including connections with other brokers, yacht builders, suppliers, and service providers.
– May perform other duties as required by business needs.
Qualifications We Are Looking For:
– 5+ years of marine industry experience.
– Solid experience in sales/brokerage, account development, and customer service.
– Valid Driver’s License with a clean driving record.
– Organized, self-disciplined, and motivated.

Overlook Marine Group is a national boat and yacht wholesale company that specializes in the acquisition of premium boats from individuals and dealers. We are currently seeking an Experienced Marine Technician to inspect, repair, and maintain company owned vessels.
Responsibilities:
Technician responsibilities include (but not limited to): performing routine maintenance, inspections, repair/replace components, test, and troubleshoot on gasoline & diesel marine engines or generators. Install and test sanitation and refrigeration systems, cabinetry, electrical systems, steering gear, and accessories. Overall knowledge of marine systems including electrical, plumbing & water systems (fresh/salt/waste), and diagnostic equipment. Able to conduct detailed hull inspections, identifying and addressing wear or damage as needed. Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
Qualifications:
- Full-time experience troubleshooting and repairing both mechanical and electrical systems.
- Experience with Outboard Motors, Gas Inboards, Diesel engines, and Generators
- Experience with installation and repair of fixtures and equipment for mechanical service, electrical systems, plumbing and plumbing fixtures, motors, pumps, HVAC systems, electronics, Nav aids, and propulsion systems.
- Attentiveness to details and the ability to work and remain on task without supervision.
- Ability to safely operate a vessel
- Valid Driver’s License
- Have, or be willing to obtain, State-Issued Safe Boating Certificate
- Ability to perform the physical aspects of the position including, the ability to lift, stack, bend, ability to ascend and descend a ladder, carry up to 75 pounds, and the ability to work in confined spaces
- Availability of working overtime to meet deadlines
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized workspace, including proper storage of tools and materials.
- Must be able to travel.
Compensation & Benefits:
- Hourly Rate: $30.00 – $45.00 per hour, based on certifications and experience
- Expected Hours: 30 – 45 per week
- Performance and Salary Review after 90-day probationary period
- Part Time or Full-Time, Year-Round Position

Hours: Monday–Friday, 9:00 am – 5:00 pm
Saturdays as needed
